“Do you really think friendships can really last for more than a life time?”
“I don’t see why not.”
Oh my god.
I’m literally tearing up

“Koh took her to punish me for my past mistakes” - Avatar Kuruk
“She’s gone.” - Sokka
“My mother was never the same after the loss of my brother.” - Tarrlok
Tragic Water Tribe Love.
They all started with the “love at first sight” thing, but ended badly.
Koh took Ummi’s face on the day of her marriage with Kuruk.
Sokka felt like he “failed” to protect Yue, she sacrificed herself for her tribe.
Yakone/Tarrlok’s mother did get married and had 2 kids, but I can imagine the pain she felt upon learning that her son has perished -for a mother, that itself is her own death. We also had no idea if she found out about Yakone’s true identity. “She was never the same” according to Tarrlok, that itself is tragic.
Basically if you’re a water tribe girl you’re screwed.
#got married #fucked eachother’s brains out hundreds of times#three of which produced children
3 fucking badass children, might I add.
Okay, so NORTHERN water tribe, that was the crucial qualification.
